We use Google Analytics to display advertisements of Google’s advertising services and its affiliate advertising services only to those users who have shown an interest in our website or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in specific topics or products) that we submit to Google (so-called "Remarketing" or "Google Analytics Audiences"). With Remarketing Audiences, we also want to make sure that our ads are in line with the potential interest of users and are not annoying them.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that Google will shorten the IP address of the users within the member states of the European Union or contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there.
The IP address submitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other data provided by Google. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly. By downloading and installing a browser plug-in, users may also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to its use of the website and the processing of such data by Google. If you submit an inquiry to us using our contact form, we will store your details from the contact form, including the contact details you have provided therein, for the purposes of processing the inquiry and in case there are any follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent (with the exception of the processors who help us to provide our website).
The data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 b) GDPR.
Provided that the statutory requirements are met, you are entitled to rights in accordance with Art. 15 to 22 GDPR. These are your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and rights to data portability.

Right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority
In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you consider that your data is being processed unlawfully.
Erasure of data
The data stored by us will be erased as soon as it is no longer necessary for its intended purposes and the erasure does not conflict with any statutory retention requirements. In accordance with Section 257 of the German Commercial Code (Handelsgesetzbuch, HGB), the statutory retention period is six years and ten years in accordance with Section 147 of the German Fiscal Code (Abgabenordnung, AO).
